During the year we celebrated our 5 years anniversary. We joined the CEWI project – an initiative from Stiftung KlimaWirtschaft, WWF Germany and Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy to develop circular solutions as a key strategy for a climate neutral and resource efficient economy.

Beginning of the year, our subsidiary in USA was founded. Supporting sustainability, we managed to compensate for 100% of our overall CO2 emissions by supporting various social and environmental projects globally but also switching our locations to only use renewable energy. In our worldwide ReLife Points, we reached the milestone of processing over 4 million parts.

During the year we extended our offer for remanufacturing services in China and USA. By end of the year, our first ReLife Point outside of Europe started operations in China.

We started operations with the opening of two further ReLife Points and our intralogistics center in Germany. Additionally, our subsidiaries in China and France were founded. Services for localization of remanufacturing parts began in China and USA.

Beginning of the year our first location called ReLife Point started operations in Spain. We launched our return platform Encory Logistics Management Application (ELMA) to create a more transparent and user-friendly interface for dealer returns.

Encory was founded in September as joint venture of BMW Group and ALBA Group (Encory is today a company of Interzero) to provide sustainable and innovative products and services for the automotive aftermarket. We moved into our new headquarter in Unterschleissheim (Munich), Germany in December.

We are operating at different national and international locations and work on a daily basis together with our internal and external partners to steadily optimize the current logistic processes.

Our goal is to satisfy and outperform the expectations of all partners in the supply chain.

Sustainability is part of our business models

Through our business models, we make a significant contribution to the sustainability of our customers´ aftersales activities. We optimize parts cycles in such a way that the product life cycle and thereby the lifetime of products is extended. The use of raw materials and resources is also reduced. If this is not possible, we ensure professional recycling.

Our way to sustainability

In order to continuously improve our ecological sustainability as a company, we regularly deal with environmental aspects that we can actively influence. One focus is on determining our CO2 emissions from travel activities and the use of renewable energies at our locations. In the past we have successfully invested in social and sustainable projects.
